Rob has been passionate about trees his whole life. This led him to pursue his forest technician course, which later snowballed into becoming an arborist and landscape gardener. Originally from Mississauga, Ontario, Rob was intending on moving over to British Columbia, but while passing through Calgary, Rob got offered a job at a landscape company, and it stuck. Quickly Rob took to the work, and opened his own tree company in 1979. Rob ran the Arborest Expert Tree Service for 30 years, before selling it and focusing on Arborist Supply Co. Inc. He started selling equipment when he was unable to find what he needed, thus the company was born. It snowballed, and Rob has been expanding ever since.
