Aveda’s Academy Salon is in a gorgeous, exposed-brick space staffed by students-in-training who are skilled and eager to please. You’ll get a massage, consultation and hair treatment, all under the supervision of an instructor. A wash and style is just $14, a haircut is $20 and colour is $32. If you’d prefer a more experienced hand wielding the scissors, you can ask for an educator to cut your hair for $60 or less, depending on the experience level of the stylist.
