Wasted 2 hours even though I had appointments !
2 prescriptions totally useless for $148.00...and lies to justify not reimbursing me
Waited until I got back to Switzerland to obtain a correct prescription.
If you require an eye test I would strongly suggest that you go elsewhere
The front staff mixed up my sons contact lens prescription several times, each time sending him home to try it, he complained about not being able to see out of one eye and the snotty front staff told him he just has to get use to it. He's only been wearing contact lenses for 13 years. After months of complaining I demanded that we get our eyes re examined by a different dr and now he finally has the right prescription. This place needs to hire a better front end crew.
The staff and doctors were friendly and knowledgeable, and I will definitely be seeing them again next year. I really appreciated the time they spent with me.
I went into the Marlborough Mall office last minute to see if I could get in for an eye exam as I had just broke my glasses and had no back up pair. The doctors were fully booked that day but the staff made it possible for me to come in as a walk-in. I barely had to wait in the waiting room before I got called in to see one of the doctors. I was surprised at how quick and smooth the entire process was. The staff also offered to put contact lenses in my eyes with my prescription while I was waiting for my new glasses to be made. This was a FREE service they offered me! I am super happy with the service I received and will definetely be coming back!
Would i reccommend Dr. Bishop & Assoc to my friends and family? Yes. My first impression when calling to book an appointment was "wow the staff has great phone edicite and excellent customer care". I was able to get an exam that worked with my schudeling needs. From the moment i walked in to the office at South Centre i was greeted with a warm welcome and to my suprise I was already being taken to start my exam right on time. I exspeciaclly liked my optometrist, she didnt rush through any part of the exam and made me feel important. I will deffenitly be going back next year, Happy Holidays
I have had bad experiences in the past with contact lenses & optometrists so I have been reluctant to go for an eye exam since I moved to Calgary. When I saw Dr. Bishop & Associates ad for their contact lens promotions, I decided to give them a try since I wanted to wear contacts again & just hadn't been able to afford it. To my surprise, not only did I end up leaving my exam with contact lenses, the doctor was friendly (& cute!) and the staff were really helpful- they were enthusiastic about trying on colored lenses once I asked them about it, and they had a much larger selection than any other optometrists that I've been to. Needless to say I will be going back to the Southcentre location.
I walked by the office around 11am hoping to book an appointment for a different day. To my suprise, I was given an appointment right away! I saw Dr. Ong and I was given a prescription for glasses. My overall experience was very good, I wish they had more chairs in the waiting area.
My optometrist and the staff made my experience a positive one! I was unsure about going into contact lenses after discontinued wearing them over 3 years. The staff were knowledgable about the product and went beyond by following up to see how my contacts were doing.

My boyfriend and I went into the office around 3pm just to get a price quote for the eye exam we expected to have to wait until next week for an appointment but they assured us that they could get us in right away for a walk-in. Staff are super friendly and helpful, doctors are knowledgable and thorough during the exam!! My boyfriend was even able to leave right away with contacts
Went to the Northland location as a walk-in. Got in and out very quickly, which was not what I expected. Tried out some contact lenses cause they offered some kind of trial at no charge. It was an experience :) Definitely returning for my next exam.
