Located in the Roots on Whyte Community Building – a hub of health and wellness businesses that include yoga studios, health practitioners and a coffee shop – Blush Lane carries a wide variety of natural cleaning products from toilet bowl cleaners to countertop cleaning products. This family-owned business carries popular product lines such as Seventh Generation and Eco-Max – both plant-based cleaning solutions.
In addition to selling kombucha teas in two sizes from the Canadian company, Rise, Blush Lane also carries Bucha, a sparkling kombucha tea. The 16-ounce bottles come in fun flavours, such as blood orange, guava mango, yuzu lemon and raspberry pomegranate. Bucha uses a special extraction method and high-end, natural ingredients, resulting in an especially delicious tasting beverage that’s enjoyable whether or not you’re a fan of probiotics.
Blush Lane Organic Market began with an orchard in Keremeos, B.C. Today, with two locations in Alberta, the market sources organic produce from Alberta and directly from their orchard. They also sell gourmet prepared foods, deli items, baked goods, cow, sheep and goat products and Canadian artisan cheeses. The market is located in the Roots on Whyte building, which is also home to my favourite breakfast and brunch spot – Under the High Wheel.
