As a council we sat down together and looked at the problems we were facing. Our biggest problem was alcohol....if we have these problems we need to find a way to get rid of them....in order to do this we have to start within ourselves. We needed to set an example...we needed a place to start...we started looking ...we walked into the bush on the east side of the reserve...it was a rough walk in but I knew this was the place to build the treatment centre.
