Hockey is Canada’s favourite pastime - that we all know. Unfortunately, when thinking of junior hockey leagues, boys’ hockey usually comes to mind first but that doesn’t need to be the case. According to the NHL, girls’ hockey is growing faster than ever. Girls who play hockey build confidence, learn leadership skills, develop agility and strength and benefit from the camaraderie and motivation associated with being a part of a team.
