Children with Intestinal and Liver Disorders (CH.I.L.D.) Foundation (Canada) is a federally registered organization located in Vancouver which was established in 1995 to fund research for children affected by Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis and liver disorders. We built BC’s first research lab on the site of BC Children's Hospital aimed at finding a cure for these conditions. The funds raised by Children with Intestinal and Liver Disorders (CH.I.L.D.) Foundation (Canada) allowed us to build Vancouver’s first research lab dedicated to finding a cure for Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis and liver disorders. CH.I.L.D. will launch a new initiative this year which employs the latest technologies including bio-informatics. A grant from the Government of British Columbia will allow us to initiate a Collaborative Approach to finding a cure for I.B.D. This will be a Canada-wide program.
