Had a fantastic meal today! Great hours! And they are staying open weekends all winter for the snowmobile crowd! Such a nice atmosphere and FRIENDLY service!!! Extensive menu, can't wait to go back.

jI have never met a business owner in all my life that is so rude, and unpleasant. She served my group in a manner that made us fell like we were imposing on her time. Commented to friends about this rude, unfriendly owner, and was shocked how many people quit going there because of the owner...the food is okay, but the atmosphere made by the owner makes it an unpleasant dining experience.....Small town, word gets out...will be surprised if she is in business for long.....will keep on driving by from now on......Robin should take some customer service classes, or, judging by other comments on this site, perhaps therapy.....
We went to Robyn's today with our 2 nephews (6 and 8). The 8 year old was sick with tonsillitis and hadn't eaten or had much to drink that morning because of his sore throat. We were 15 minutes early so we waited in our car until they opened at 11am. Upon entering, the waitress barked " you can't have "THAT" in here" - meaning the 8 year old's water bottle. I responded by telling her that the little boy is sick. "We sell water" she retorted. We abided by her request and the put the water bottle in the car. When we started to place our order, I innocently asked if she was the owner. "YES", she barked once again. It was all down hill from here. I would have expected a courteous, customer service oriented attitude from the owner of a small isolated burger joint. On the contrary, the owner/server was rude, insensitive and short tempered. Her disposition was so poor that I asked her if she was in a bad mood this morning. Obviously so. She proceeded to tear up the order and yell " Get out of here." I was dumbfounded and appalled that our 2 young nephews had to witness such poor behaviour from a restaurant owner. We left in shock vowing to never eat there again and pass along our experience to all that will listen. PS. We used to love this Drive-in when the facility was under previous ownership.
My family and I have been coming here for years. We love the food and the warm greetings we receive upon returning each year. A great place to stop with your family.
We 'used to' stop in @ this place going to or coming from the cottage. maybe 10-12 times per year. Spend between $35.-$45. for our family for run of the mill burgers, fries & shakes. Not anymore though...This summer after getting our order to the car, we were given the wrong dip for my daughters chicken fingers;(Honey Mustard instead of Honey Dill). Honest mistake. When I went inside to exchange for the correct dip sauce, the middle aged woman that served us wanted me to pay another $1.00 for the correct sauce! REALLY?!?!?!? We just spent $45.00 there & now she wants to charge me for her mistake???? How' that for customer service...(NOT!) Big mistake. Do the math on our yearly visits; say 11X / year @ $40./ visit= $440.00 / year from one family. I hope the 'rude woman' was the owner so she personally takes this loss. She won't see us there ever again. Bad business choice...
Absolute worst service I have ever had The guy in the back was a smart mouth that treated paying customers with disrespect The food was average but not good enough to tolerate the total disrespect you get from the employees
Homemade burgers and homemade fries were great. The service could use a bit of help, but for the most part it's clean and a great place to stop on the way to the beach or cabin.
