front desk staff is terrible. seems to be a long time problem - most likely due to lack of accountability at the office. Listen, Doctor Mundle, just because you are friends with or have a personal relationship with your receptionist doesnt mean they can do no wrong. Have some accountability. I see I am only one of a long list of people who have received terrible service!! Take off the blinders and do some damage control.

Excellent eye doctor. The receptionists are incompetent that is why my family and I refuse to do business with this company. Customer service is poor on their behalf.
I called to make an appointment with Dr.Irene Mestito-Dao because I had a scratched cornea. Her office informed me that because I was due for an eye exam I would have to pay $140 for the exam in order to be seen. How would she properly examine me while my eye is injured? How would she preform all the necessary tests like the one that requires air pressure on my INJURED eye? This office does not care about the health and well being of their patients.

We are sorry you had a bad experience with our office. It is our office policy to inform all patients that there MAY be a fee of up to $140 when they present with a problem. Some tests required to diagnose and treat problems are covered by Manitoba Health and some are not and we do not want patients to be surprised at the end of their visit. You are absolutely correct that a complete eye examination may not have been able to be done if your eye was injured. We apologize for the misunderstanding.
