Climb to the private lookout and watch the sailboats out of Brigus or the whales spouting in the sea far below. In the evening watch the moon rise over the bay or curl up in front of the fireplace inside. A private lookout atop the cliffs nearby overlooks the bay far below and is just a short walk from the back door. Inside the chalet at Otterbury Hollow, the mood is casual luxury. The decor is Navajo complete with wooden beams, stucco and pine floors. A large country kitchen features a vaulted ceiling, full-sized appliances and well lit serving peninsula. Dishes and cutlery are provided. Upstairs, the master bedroom opens onto the upper deck with a panoramic view of the surrounding meadows and coastline in the distance. The rooms are bright and comfortable. All linens and bedding are provided. About 65km from St. John's, take Exit 31 from the Trans Canada Highway to the Baccalieu Trail (Veterans Memorial Highway), then after 1 km take the exite to Route 70 (Roaches Line).
