Burt Weldon Moore had a lifelong passion for the outdoors and a dream to open a 'guest house.' On retiring at 55, he and his wife Sylvia leased land in Algonquin Park in 1933 and two years later the main lodge was finished.Grandmother Moore was the first Killarney Lodge 'chef' cooking on the wood stove. We have got Algonquin park log cabin of the Killarney lodge. I just loved the stay and food. The atmosphere was too relaxing. Im in love with the place. Definitely, I will return!!

Outstanding. Been up every year at least twice for getaways. Food and service are impeccable. It makes a nice drive from Barrie. Then to settle down in our favourite cabin. Ahhhhhh.
