We didn't get the same experience as the other review at all. He sold us the wrong parts, telling us they would work. They didn't work. Taking them back, he tried to sell us on other parts and convince us they would work, even though we knew they wouldn't, because he apparently didn't have the parts we actually wanted/needed.
Well, finally we decided this wasn't working out and asked for a refund. First he refused a refund, then changed his mind and asked for a restocking charge. Finally he gave in and gave us a refund and pretty much stormed away. It just made it worse that he was rude about it. I don't understand how it's our fault that he had no idea what he was talking about and needed to be rude to us.
It ended up that more time was wasted than anything. It's not an experience we'll repeat.
Skunkwares is my computer store of choice. I looked a long time for a computer store I could depend on and when I found out these guys had moved around the corner from me, I had to check them out. I've been using them for almost a year now and have been very satisfied.
I'm not exactly a spring chicken so things don't always stick good and the staff has always been more than helpful. I've always found good prices and a great variety of products and services to choose from. They have provided a very customized experience that has made me happy and the computer I got from them runs great. I've even had some fun on their facebook page recently entering contest and trivia for prizes.
If you haven't been to Skunkwares yet, you gotta give it a try.
