For the benefit of those not in the construction industry, we offer this brief explanation: Bobcat is the commonly used name to describe the popular all-wheel drive loaders (more technically called skid steers) which are seen on jobsites all over. The machines do not have steering like a car's, rather they turn by skidding their wheels. This allows the machine to have great maneuverability - it can literally spin on a dime. And because these machines as compact, they can fit into many areas that larger excavators cannot.
