Damaged property, high costs, extra costs and a denied damages claim. Worst moving experience ever! Ameri-Cana movers/AMS transportation....awful company with no respect for peoples property.
The worst moving company ever. We used them to move from BC to NS. They were really unfriendly, not giving information about our missing car for a long time (the car was supposed to be on the same truck as the household, but was not), did not pack the furniture properly so that things got damaged. I can not recommend this company at all!!!!
We used this company to transport our furniture from Florida to Collingwood and it was a complete disaster, despite all of the assurances from AMS that they were the best company for the job!
Firstly, on the day of the move they ran over the allocated elevator time at our condo due to their staff arriving 2.5hrs late (a time that AMS had requested to arrive). Our condo tried to charge us an additional $250 for extra elevator time, AMS refused to pay this but luckily I managed to talk the condo
They dontdont let you known what is going on. My pickup date was missed without communication. They showed up 4 days late. It has been over 30 days and still havent delivered, the deadline was 9 days ago.
Would not recommend. Moving my elderly mother's belongings from Nova Scotia to Edmonton....I wasn't aware the mover I hired (Fox Transport) brokered the move to AMS Transportation.
Absolutely horrible communication. Considering their business is scheduling the transport of goods across the continent...very frustrating.
The fellows who unloaded her stuff were awesome. Shame they work for an unprofessional organization.
Please please please do not trust your move to this company.
