A recent misunderstanding bcoz of miscommunication between two employees caused some problem. How ever it has been resolved after I talked to them and every thing is cool now.
This is my third visit to this location and the last two have not been at level that I was expecting. On both occasions my wheels were swapped out and both times the tire pressure was not checked. I had to fill it up after resetting my TPMS. This last time I noticed oil was dripping under the car at the front after i got home from also having the oil changed, opened up the hood to see that a large quantity of oil was spilled on the inside - the cause! .
So I used to go to this location all the time but will not be going back after today. Customer service was bad, they were rude and condescending. The main reason however that I will not go back it because he pulled my car out and left it running while we went through the transaction which took several minutes. Guelph has a bylaw against idling; the location is close to downtown and the car could have been stolen and it wasted my gas.
Overall one of the best experiences Ive had at an auto shop. These guys really out did them seleves and provided above and beyond customer service. From offering an extra inspection, free winshield wippers, free top up of fluids ect.. these guys left me speachless. As a university of guelph student i really apperiacte all the extra work theu did for me and all the money they saved me(which is tje reason why im writing this review.) I 100% recomend this shop to everyone in guelph.
They do a great job and the guys are really friendly and easy to work with if there is an issue with your car. Highly recommend!
BY FAR the best place I have been for an oil change!!!! The guys are really nice, professional, and have a sense of humour to boot. Always feel like you are number one customer. Cannot say enough good things about it!! Will NEVER go anywhere else EVER :)
If you are going to read just one truthful review on this place, I really hope it is this one! If you are looking for great prices, honest work and excellent customer service, I would highly recommend this Economy Lube on Gordon Street in Guelph, ON. I don’t feel that the negative publicity that they have received from the CBC Marketplace documentary is warranted, and my experience with the employees at this location has been simply wonderful. Great job, excellent service and awesome value
Oil change service was quick, convenient and courteous. Highly recommended!
After instructing the tech to only change the engine oil, check the inflation pressure of the front tires, and knock the "change oil light" off in the dash they took my car in for service. Two minutes later the tech was back in the waiting room telling me I needed to change the differential oil. I asked him "why are you checking other fluids when I just asked you to only change the engine oil ....etc.." Long story short, the tech failed to inflate the front tires and knock the dash light off. Most inportantly the tech failed to put the oil plug back in the differential, and I drove away, unknowing. 200K later I discovered that plug was left out, the oil spilt on the road and my driveway. I am still dealing with them regarding the damages. What a hassle . I would suggest better to not service your vehicle then take it to Economy Lube.
