This was my third time going to Conquistador and...
This was my third time going to Conquistador and I couldn`t have been more pleased with the food, atmosphere, and service. I approached the owner and asked if she could help me plan a menu for my husbands suprise 50th birthday party and she was very accommodating. The extra special service was felt be all my family.
A must try restaurant.
I wanted to surprise my wife with a birthday party with some of her closest friends and family, we had previously dinned together at Conquistador and since my wife have a wonderful time, I thought the place, the food and size was just perfect. My party was aprox 40 people. I can not explain what great service I received from their Kitchen manager, FILO, she was able to remind me of any last minute things to make my wifes birthday just unremarkable from linen colour to centre piece arrangements, she even took care of ordering the cake for me and the champagne for toasting. This made it very easy for me to surprise my wife. Hatts off to the wonderful staff at Conquistador, this was be the most happiest 50th birthday for my wife. Looking forward to our return to enjoy more seafood...and I will try to leave room for dessert this time. JOHN

This was my first time going to Conquistador, it came highly recommended by many friends of our who had been there prior and even held their daughters Baptism there. Once we entered, we were greated by the lovely bartender who then escorted us to our table and provided us with menus. The restaurant was packed and everyone was having a great time, we took this as a good sign. Moments later our waitress came and inquired if this was our first time, which it was and advised that she would give us a moment to review the menu but not to hesitate if we had any questions. The waitress came back with a basket of fresh portuguese buns and took our drink order. When she returned, we inquired about what she would recommend, which was the Bife Conquistador, which is a strip loin steak with their house sliced potaotes and three jumbo shrimp...amazing. The waitress provided us with a great choice and was very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was to die for and stuffed yet could not leave without have a slice of their Bailey's Cheescake, slice was good for the two of us, accompanied by their GALAO, (latte). I was amazing by the great service, great food and great price. Myself and my husband had a great evening and enjoyed the ambiance. Thank you to Grace and Diane for a wonderful evening and we will certainly be back. Keep up the great work!!

My fiance and I wanted to step out of the box and try something new. We heard great things about the restaurant especially for their "platters". We were greated with friendly service and seated in the restaurant that was packed. As we ordered our wine we were checking out everyone elses plates. We decided on our app and our meal. We had our wine and bread in no time. Our "flamming sausage" ( portuguese sausage over a flame, brought right to your table) wasn't far behind. The seafood platters display was amazing. The portions were very generous. The shrimp was amazing sauteed in a sauce thats unimaginable. The lobster, clam, crab and mussels were delicious. Definately recommend it. We had to sit for a good 1/2 hour to enjoy a coffe, tea and portuguese custard (natas I think). Will definately be back!
