Originally started in 1958 in Newmarket Ontario and has been in the drilling industry ever since. Lone Star Drilling has had the pleasure of working with some of the biggest engineering companies around the globe such as Strabag Inc. on the OPG project in Niagara Falls, Ellis Don, PCL, McNally Eng. and most of the big elevator companies for hydraulic elevator shafts which require a straight hole. We have had the pleasure of drilling air vent shafts and alignment holes throughout Ontario and elevator shafts from coast to coast. Ventilation shafts 36” in diameter 425 feet deep in the rock and countless 12” holes throughout Niagara Falls for the Sir Adam Bec Tunnel, Strabag Inc.
