Ava Beauty & Nail Spa

Been there several times and have been happy with the quality of their work (have had manis and pedis there) and polish stays on much longer than when done at home. Clean and doesnt stink like some other nail salons. Dont expect much conversation unless you speak their language but usually decent movies on.

Worst nail salon in Lindsay, next time I will ask my 4 yr old to paint my toes.

It would be better if they even tried to speak English. I go because it is convenient and apart from conversation it is good. I have asked them to change movie and they did!

I have been a customer here for over four years. It is the best manicure and pedicure I have ever had. It is a family run business and I appreciate the care they take to make sure the work is quality. Thank you for taking the care and giving the service that you do.

Cold water for a pedicure...innapropriate movie running on tv...felt horrid for thr older clientale..let alone the children..when i mentionned it , they didnt correct it ... Overall not a good experience..the quality of pedicure was sub standard at best Will not return or recommend

Very disappointed...

Very disappointed in Ava nails. My co-workers purchased a gift certificate for me to get a pedicure for my last day of work before maternity leave. I went in for my appointment and when I finally got situated in the pedicure chair/bath, the worker put on gloves that I noticed were latex. I advised him that I was highly allergic and he didn't understand me, kept trying to grab my foot. After about 5 minutes of trying to explain my allergy, an English speaking worker announced that they only have latex gloves and if I wanted to get my nails done I needed to go out and purchase non-latex ones myself. I was very offended because she did not say this to me in a nice way, she acted as if I was a bother. Also, at this point I was one week away from being due with my baby, clearly pregnant and uncomfortable. I had to call my husband and ask that he make a special trip to the drug store to purchase gloves. Even if I wasn't pregnant, latex allergies are extremely common and because of this latex gloves are banned from all health care facilities. They should be following this as well. They have lost my business.
