Unger's Market was founded by the Unger family in 1984! Our first location was the Old Country Market on Little Simcoe Street and also a fruit stand on Dundas Street. In 1987, we relocated to join several other family owned businesses in Hyde Park and through the years we have remained at the heart of the ever growing Hyde Park community. We were originally called Unger's Farm Market, reflecting the farming background of the family, but once the farm was sold, a new look and name were created. The best pies you will ever taste just like my grandmother used to make - from scratch! Nigel the butcher weekly makes sausage. Our family favourite is the Garlic Pork - very lean. He makes patties & links.
Great little gift shop area where they always have unique items not seen everywhere.
