The Thrift Shop London was founded by university sweethearts Lauren and Thumilan. Lauren had always been approached by girls complimenting her on her clothes, and when asked how much she had spent on her outfits, people were pleasantly surprised. Thumilan saw this special talent in Lauren and once both of them had graduated from University College London he decided to design her a website where she could share her talent with others.
