on the way to deerhurst every year since 1982 we always stop for two double patty cheeseburgers for each of us just cant get enough of their burgers they definately are awesome
First of all it's not Paul Weber's Drive-In restaurant - Paul sold the business several years ago. It's Webers Hamburgers- located in the gateway to the Muskokas - food is great -the atmosphere is great - customer's stopping on both sides of the highway - there is a bridge to get across the highway if your south bound - the burgers are cooked over a charcoal grill and the burgers are made fresh everyday. Sure there are line ups - that usually indicates a great place to eat - so thousands of people can't be wrong. The staff work the lines and usually before you even get inside to pick up your food, your order has been taken and you have the change in your pocket (cash only - there is a ATM machine on site) - so don't be intimidated by a line up - it moves fast. Stop in next time you drive by, you won't be disappointed and hey if you are --- I'm just say'n!
I have been going there since the 80s the patties are very small and thin what i do to compensate is order a double burger and a single burger transfer the single to the double make it a triple for a perfect burger throw the bun to the pigeons and everynoes happy
The best part about Webers is driving past it late at night knowing that after driving 3 hours with another 2 to go, we can stop there with our dog and fill up her bowl (or the one provided) at the water pump. What a great, simple touch when travelling with the family pup.
