My boyfriend and I both had the best steak of our lives at Prime 360. The staff was so knowledgable with the cuts of steak and found a wine pairing that was absolutely impecable. We will definitely be coming back. It is well worth the money
I went out to dinner with a couple of friends and had a very good experience. Our server was excellent, I think her name was Victoria. She made very good recommendations on the wine and appetizers. We needed no help choosing our steaks as we had been there on numerous occasions and already knew what steaks we liked the best! I had the 12oz filet and my friends had 8oz filets. The wine Victoria recommended was the Beringer Nights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon - it was delicious and full bodied - a little expensive but we were spoiling ourselves. Victoria also recommended the crab cakes - also delicious! At the end of the meal Victoria brought us a round of amarettos to help celebrate my friends birthday - nice touch. Great night out!
Hi All. I would have to say the sunday morning buffet provided by Prime 360 would have to be the best breakfast you can get in town. We went with a group of 10 people and we will definitely all go back. Everything is fresh, and the quality is top notch. The range of food was very impressive. We had anything from a traditional cooked breakfast to continental style, lasagne, fresh salmon, all sorts of fresh salads, pasta and the list keeps going. Honestly the buffet has everything you want plus more. We had very polite hostesses who were clearing our tables on a regular basis and making sure our coffee cups were fill. They were just perfect for a sunday morning breakfast as they gave us the space we needed for conversation but were always around when someone needed a refill or plates cleared. Prime 360 on a Sunday morning I would recommend to everyone from a young family to senior citizens and I would especially recommend to a group of people who had a bit to much to drink the night before. The buffet has everything you need to cure a hangover.
my whole family was celebrating my husbands birthday and we loved both the food and the service. There was so much selection and the chocolate cake was so yummy
Sunday Oct 7/12 received excellent service from Terry, pleasant greetings and smiles from any staff member I met. A great selection on the Special Thanksgiving menu for Appetizers, Main Courses and Desserts. I enjoyed my meal, and all 14 of us were served our meal courses at the same time. This was not my first visit nor will it be my last.
A great experience! Family was celebrating Thanksgiving and a birthday all in one. Our server, Terry, was most attentive and able to answer any questions regarding the meals, wines or anything else we wanted to know. The meals were extremely tasty. The best pumpkin pie I've had.
Adequate service, food below par for what one would expect. Steaks were overdone despite request not too. If you want a "Rare" steak, opt for another place. Not worth the price.
This is what we wrote to the manager after our terrible experience: Yesterday my business partner and I had the opportunity to treat several of our valued colleagues and clients to what was intended to be a top class experience at Prime 360 in Ottawa on Laurier Avenue West. We were happy to reserve a spot for 8 but due to cancelations we were only 6 for our evening. With the exception of our party and a small group of others that came later in the evening, your dining hall was completely empty. On arriving prior to our guests we met Gordon, our server for the evening and the cause for out ruined dining experience. We arranged with Gordon to cover a portion of our guest’s bills (first round and appetizers) and when we rejected Gordon's advice to order several bottles of wine and the more expensive appetizer sampler he was quick to grunt his dissatisfaction. As we guessed, our clients chose a variety of other beers and appetizers which suited their tastes. When a few of our guests ordered appetizers, Gordon argued with their choices as he clearly wanted them to order the steak and obviously raise the bill and his tip. When it was clear that the guests were satisfied with their choices, he said "why don't you order more appetizers as your hosts are paying for these items". This was embarrassing to me and my partner Mike as we had made this arrangement for our guests in private and again Gordon was attempting to raise the bill. His rudeness was noticed but ignored. Moments after finishing, he immediately brought the guests their bills and brought the debit machine, although we all still had our drinks left and had only just finished our food. When our guests did leave and we paid our bill (and had received his tip which I wish I could get back because he did not deserve a penny of it) he said 'next time you wish to meet here you're welcome to sit at the bar, this is a dining room and your meeting to discuss business is not welcome'. A truly laughable and unbelievable statement considering the otherwise empty restaurant on a Tuesday night. I informed him that we would likely never return due to the bad service and he walked away. I asked to speak to the manager but none was available. Gordon's rude behavior and comments were highly offensive and his attitude ruined an otherwise great get together with colleagues. Prime 360 was chosen as it was supposed to be a great spot but instead it was incredibly disappointing and I will never dine again there knowing people such as Gordon the server are working at such an establishment. As a Business owner myself, such activities by my employee would result in their immediate dismissal. For myself, an architect, service is part of the experience and such poor service would surely destroy any relationship I have with my clients. Please consider these comments carefully as they are said with honesty and take whatever action you see fit, but keep in mind that perhaps the reason your dining hall was so utterly empty was because Gordon was working that night. Good day.
This place has great steaks. Your paying a pretty dollar, but it is well worth it if you enjoy fine dinning.
This restaurant is dead, no view. The selection on the menu is limited and it's very expensive. We went there on a Saturday night and there was just one other couple in the whole big restaurant. The steak was over cooked and very pricey. The cocktails were expensive. The service was under par. I sent my steak back because I ordered a medium steak and it was overcooked. By the time I received my meal, my partner was finished her meal. We both unfortunately have to give this restaurant two thumbs down.
