My list; Constantly run out of hot water.Elevators are slow get a 15 minute start to your already early day. Constant drills (checking fire alarm and testing) seems to be bi weekly.People knocking on your door to sell or join something.Unorganized office forgets locations of parking and storage so ask tenant to re send info of our spots. Still waiting on things to get fixed. Door leaks every time it rains. Balcony also pools when it rains. Bedbug reoccurance. Bedbugs!! Do not rent Bedbugs

I am reading some of the other reviews that are on. I have lived here happily since May 2012. Someone mentioned rats, I had 1 tiny mouse and when I called, someone came and filled in the holes with expanding foam, that was in 2014, no problems since. The maintenance staff take excellent care of the inside and outside of the building. People complaining about the rent increase, please read the landlord tenant act, they are allowed to increase 2.5%/year. Ideal location, well maintained.

Visitor parking just doubled in rate. It was free during the day, but $6 for overnight (after midnight). Now you have to pay at all times and it's $12 for a day. Don't pay for 2 days in a row because it's then $36 for some reason. Really! Is this necessary? These apartments are tenants' homes. Why are visitors gouged like this? Most places have a free visitors parking area! A close friend of mine lives here and I often come to visit for the weekend. DO NOT MOVE HERE!

Overall communication is lacking, don't care about tenants, disrespectful twords clients including the elderly, against animal welfare... Just terrible. Oh and don't forget the bedbugs.

Rat Infested

Very good location beside shops and transit. Ongoing renovations allows management to increase rent over 2.5% annually. Renovations are on the building but not in the units. Waiting two years for broken old kitchen draws to be repaired but hasn't been done after numerous work order sheets given. There is also a problem with small rats coming out of the heating vents. Management aware but doesn't exterminate or block off vents to solve this issue. There is also a major problem with pigeons all over the balconies making tons of bird droppings every where. Management claims they will disinfect it but, never has for the 11 years living there. Wasn't able to use balcony and enjoy the view.The rent is too high for residence living there, yet they are lowering the price for new tenants to come in. Once they are in the landlord raises the rent way over the 2.5% until they get the amount they really wanted for the unit as per renovation costs. Lots of people are moving out because of these issues and poor management and treatment of tenants. Lived there for 11 years and left after new management company took over. Very cold and not easy to talk to. Doesn't care about tenants, only money. Nice location, poor service and cold senior manager. people moving out in packs each week. Management will be forced to reduce rent and take take of issues to keep tenants. Somerset losing long time reliable tenants for unreliable tenants that leave in 6 months or don't pay rent. Three janitors fired or quite in the last year for not answering emergency calls or properly maintaining building on the inside. Focus needs to be on fixing the inside issues of building, not just the outside looks.
