Your establishment brings back many many fond memories.My parents and i spent nights there.in winter while working on our cottage.My mother and father,Donald And mother isabel And myself Andrew.Have many fond memories of Harold (Mayor) and Marjorie,and Bruce,Gay and Tony.I sincerely hope you spend money on your ROOMS They still smell of the 1960,s and 70,s.That would be nice.High to all the family.
Not impressed with this place at all...
Again another place I went as a kid and as an adult its lost its luster.
My clam strips dinner was way to small for any adult person. They were so full of sand I spit half of them in to my napkin.
The waitress needed to cut her finger nails - it was soooooo disgusting to see her long finger nails in my food plate. I almost refused the food but I was on a date and didn't want to put the other person in a awkward position.
The atmosphere is outdated and the place needs some air freshener!
The Cove Room remains in the early '70s. I hope they never change it.
We had a terrific meal tonight the servrice was great, and the wait staff is tremendous. The celery bread is amazing and salad cart was awesome. The yellow perch was done perfectly. Keep up the great tradition.
If you want a Perch dinner here is the spot. There is a formal dining room downstairs and a diner style upstairs. Downstairs you will get salad bar and drapery and upstairs you will get a fish aquarium and tv screens. Perch is the same in both locations, it just depends on what you want to look at. Lake Erie beach is only a stone throw from the front steps. Get your fish to go and walk to the picnic tables dotted along the beach to enjoy the sounds of the waves. Staff are fantastic and food is well priced for the portions. Try the pickled pumpkin and celery bread for a change, they are honestly very tasty. Service is good and food comes out fast. They even cater to children which is nice to see. If you go on Friday the 13th be prepared to stand in line for a bit,.
