A. J. Positano Paving was established in 1968, in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. A. James Positano, bought a portable asphalt plant and the necessary equipment to service the driveway needs of every customer. Throughout the years, A. J. Positano Paving acquired a strong clientele mainly serving Northern Ontario, places such as Wawa, White River, Marathon, Nipigon, Geraldton, Longlac, Hearst, Cochrane, and Iroquios Falls. I n the late 1970s, A. J. Positano Paving started moving out to Northwestern Ontario as well, to places such as Fort Frances, Rainy River, Kenora, Dryden, Ignace, Red Lake, balmertown, and Sioux Lookout. This developed a wide range of service for all of Northern Ontario. In 1989, Positano Paving bought a portable crusher and became fully independent. They started to crush their own aggregate to use in the preparation of projects and for the mixture of the asphalt itself.Today, A. J. Positano Paving is still serving Northern and Northwestern Ontario with great success. Their equipment is state-of-the-art, which makes their performance and quality shine through even more. With their flourishing reputation, the clientele continues to grow stronger year after year.In 2002, A. J. Positano Paving expanded into the United States of America, to service a lot of consumers that demanded our niche. We now serve communities in Northern Michigan consisting of Sault Ste.
