Today is the second time in a year that Purolator was delivering a bulky package to my home. Both times, the driver could clearly see there were cars in the driveway indicating that someone was likely home. But they don't bother ringing the bell or knocking. They just peel off the delivery notice sticker and don't even attempt deliver a second time. They say where the package can be picked up one hour away. I can't fit a 6 foot bathroom vanity in my car! This location never answers their phone.
They lost my package and have no idea where it went. Said they got a verbal acceptance but it certainly was not me. According to their own tracking website it has the right address, but no idea where it was delivered to
If I could rate no stars I would. Over the last couple of years I’ve had maybe 4 packages go thru this depot. Every single time they hold it, say they’ve contacted me but never do - and I have been to the depot to fill out the signature card and put the sticker on my door. They contacted the shipper in one instance and directed them to tell ME to pick up the shipment!!! They always say I need an appt to receive a package but that’s not an option on the website. Terrible terrible service.
My package was supposed to arrive on the 21st. They said the driver claimed the address was invalid, I called in, the agent said it was their mistake and that the address was valid all along. He also said they wont be able to deliver it the next day, so I had to wait that day and the weekends. Its now the following monday and tracking information is still saying address correction required. I called in and was told that the request was not viewed yet, and that Ill have to wait for tomorrow.
Lazy driver. Afternoon April 15 a partially filled out note was left for me to go pick up the delivery. My car was in the driveway, I was working from home 7 ft from the front door and my dog did not bark. The driver DID NOT KNOCK. Pickup April 16 5:30 pm your office clerk did not seem to care that customers are inconvenienced. When a company sends something by courier its an important item. With CoVid restrictions, for my safety or yours, I did not need to go to your office. VERY POOR SERVICE
Company overall - 0/10. They put my package on the wrong truck, and I called to ask they not ship it. They have sent it out the next day and now I need to return to the facility to pick it up because their system was updated delaying it another day. Very well done.
I was sitting here and watched the truck drive right past my house. Then I received a text that a delivery was attempted. THIS IS NOT TRUE! Of course, the office was closed as it is Remembrance Day, and the online chat with Purolator just said that she would ask him to make another attempt. Did not happen. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me with Purolator. I will no longer shop online from a retailer that uses Purolator. Totally unacceptable.
I have to say I would not recommend this service. The estimated time for delivery has been incorrect three times in a row. The delays have ranged from 24hrs to 72hrs and explanation has been non-existent or fabricated. I can only assume that delivery people have too much to do in the time allotted or are not reliable. When I scheduled an alternate delivery point due to their extreme delay yesterday, the message was not relayed to the driver or was simply ignored. Either way, unreliable.
The driver did not knock or ring the doorbell, they just left a slip. I was literally 5 feet away from the door the entire time, and I didnt even hear him. Awful. Even if there was a single quiet knock, my dogs would have heard it.
Ordered on-line from London. Wasnt home when delivery attempt was made. Notice said I had to pick up parcel in Stratford- 40 minute drive.Called and was told I had to pick up parcel in Stratford in person with ID-no additional attempts arranged for delivery. After driving to Stratford was told 3 attempts are made to deliver parcels and I could have arranged for someone else to pick up parcel with Letter of Authorization. It would have been easier for me to drive to London.Wont use again.
If I could give this location zero stars, I would. I live in Woodstock, so our packages come from the Stratford depot as we dont have our own depot. Driver left a notice saying they were here at 10:19am, funny because so was I! No knock, just left a notice that I would have to pick up my package in Stratford. 40 minutes away. I called customer service and they were even given the runaround by this location, were told my package would be re-delivered or left at the Woodstock pickup point.
Purolator stated they tried to deliver at 11:53. No notice left. They said they re-tried, and successfully dropped off the package at 5:44, no signature required. Why then could they have not left it at 11:53? One of two things happened. They delivered to the wrong house, if they delivered at all. Or the driver quite possibly lied about it and went home with a new blu-ray player in this case. Never use Purolator in Stratford.
They left a notice without bothering to ring the bell or knock. Now I have to go and pick up the parcel I was home waiting for.
Left me a ticket saying “they missed me” at 3:15pm and when I checked my Ring Doorbell Camera I saw he had stopped by at 3:28pm and didn’t even ring my door bell! I guess he couldn’t be bothered to properly leave my package and wanted to go home for the day. I will never order anything that uses Purolator, absolutely useless!
Purolator supposedly tried to deliver a package. No knock at door, no notice left and office refused to re-deliver same day.
