I called in a take out order on Friday around 12:30. I was treated terribly by the owner and never did receive my food. VERY unprofessional!!!
Went in for drinks, seemed like a decent place. Only complaint is that the music is just far too loud, but that seems common in small pubs like Peddler's. Word of advice, if you go at night, bring cash or a credit card as they don't use their Interact machine past 10:30PM, and you'll have to use the on site private ATM, which means a high service fee to use, as well as another one to your bank. - TD Canada Trust charges as much as $3.50 per transaction for using another machine that isn't theirs. In short, it's a good place to go if you want to get hammered and listen to live music.
We only went for drinks too cool off in the middle of our wedding day photo's downtown. The drinks were great and then my photographer decided he would get me on the bar with my husband drinking a beer beside me. The watress was a great sport we all had an Amazing afternoon.
Was just there for Friday lunch and left without my food after waiting 55 minutes. Main restaurant not too terribly busy but there was a large party in the back room that was being served as we arrived. I was 12:20 before a waitress even acknowledged us. Paid for my drink and left @ 1:00. You would think that they would be prepared for a busy lunch hour especially if they had a large group pre-booked. Get some waitresses already or do something in the kitchen to keep up. Total waste of time going there, especially just for pub fare, if you only have an hour for lunch.
I am sorry, but Peddlar's is NOT the cleanest place in Sudbury - it's dark and dingy and that's a fact. The food is okay and I will go with a party at lunch once in a while. Maybe it's better for an evening for draft and wings - and there isn't anything wrong with that.
If you want to go out and not be bothered by freeks that frequent the bars around the corner Peddlers is the place. Its expensive, but if you don't like the prices......stay home
Peddlers used to be amazing. We were there so often they new us by name and drink. A group of us goes at least every Tuesday. As of late the service has been horrible half the time they aren''t open when we get there or the kitchen is closed ( we show up between 9-11 every Tuesday).. Lately anytime i order anything but fries at night my order is under cooked over cooked or completely wrong .. i doubt we will continue going at night. Some of the servers are really nice and have been really trying i think the issue is more in the kitchen the servers Tuesday night are pretty good. The day staff is excellent i''ve never had a problem going there for lunch.
I go to Peds periodically, but usually I find their service at best to be below average. There are quite a number oftimes where I would go in and they are out of something I wish to have. The food isn't the greatest at the pub and they have a rather poor menu. The atmosphere is nowhere near that of an Irish Pub; they don't play celtic music, the only celtic item on the menu is bangers and mashed, and the servers look more like schoolgirls in their uniforms than Irish lassies.
Atmosphere, clientele and staff are great. An excellent bar with promp service.
I love going to Peddlers!! I am there just about every thurdsay with my friends. Some waitresses are nicer than others, but thats just about everywhere you go!
my experience was just awsome... greatest bar in town.' Dominic and Ashley are just the best managers ever.... ' everyone is great .. the food is delicious and the service is amazing.. LOVE PEDDLERS, I would totally go again
I just went with friends for a few beer...and wings... party it up and it was absolutely fenomenal!!! Dominic and Ashley (managers) are sooo great... they focus on fast service which is terrific on those busy nights!!! they do it with a smile and they make sure the bar runs smoothly... awsome job guys!!
The place was was just great. Live music by one of my favorite musicians I've seen in a small town bar, he would gladly take requests, and do his best to play them all. Overall I found the entire experience to be a blast. I recommend anyone that passes by or lives in the town of Sudbury to take in a night at Peddlers Pub with as many good friends as you can gather. Food was great, and quick, drinks were well made and the servie....MUAH....top notch!!! Thanks for the night.
It was my friends birthday so we all went to peddler's for drinks and what not. I'm not sure of the bartenders name, but she awesome! She was very friendly, helpful and made sure we were happy with everything we had. We ordered food and ate it at the bar and she made sure everything was great. Our night there was even better because she was so pleasant and helpful! Our wings and poutine were very good as well! we enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back!
i loved it, it was so fun and the night didnt seem to end!
Our waitress was very prompt and one of the most friendly girls. Our waitress truely made our experience there worth while and I will be back again next year for our Christmas party just for the service! Thank you!!
Our waitress Aaron was fenomenol! She has such a great sense of humour and knew how to take care of us to make our stay enjoyable!! We will be back when she is working!!
Decent Pub menu... However service is crap... The girls are nice and smile alot but seem not to care unless your a weekly visitor. The worst is the misrable guy behind the bar. The most unfriendly, rude server I think I have ever seen. Threw menu's at us, slammed out plates and drinks down and didn't even say anything. One person in our party complained about their food just have it get thrown out in front of them with no its ok its on th house, or we'll remake it... just threw it out...
Extremely poor service & very rude waitress. Slow to get our order and even slower to bring our food. Need to work on customer service in a big way.
