When we got to the restaurant we were greated by...

When we got to the restaurant we were greated by some lovely people. To our dismay, the waitress was no where near as nice, she was rude, impartient, and seemed to dislike us by consistantly servivng others and avoiding us. When we got our dishes, i was given the wrong side order. When i got the fries that i ordered, they were greasy and tasted like cardboard. Kelly's 1/4 Chicken that she ordered was dry and she ended up throwing most of it away. After that meal, we ordered the dessert which was by far the best thing there. Aside from the food and horrible service, the area was extremely dirty. The table we were placed at had some sort of sticky substance on the table accompanied by a very dusty and dirty window sill. To add insult to injury, we had to hit another restaurant to actually become full. If you want a dessert then you shuld come here, besides that this place is highly unrecommended to anyone who wants a chicken or ribs.

Great service but... Have you ever noticed that everything at Swiss Chalet tastes the same, regardless of what you order? The food wasn't bad but it wasn't great - very sloppily put together.

I have been to this restaurant for many years, when it was part of the mall. The service and the food have always been good, and I noticed that many of the staff have been the same for years. The hostess was nice and friendly and showed us to our seat right away, and our waitress came shortly, asked about our drinks and then took the order. The food came within a few minutes. The dark meat was very tasty and a decent amount. The vegetables were not quite warm enough, but were tasty. The waitress came shortly after we were finished with the food, asked if we wanted dessert and then brought the bill promptly.

Very Bad place to eat, Service was horrible..made U wait for almost an hour just for your food, meanwhile ppl who came in after us with the exact same order got served before us. I ordfered White meat, but got Dark meat..i never mentioned anything because by that time I was just hungry and wanted to eat, when I got the bill, they still charged me for the white meat anyways..had to basically yell at teh server before he even stopped near my table..Just Awful, Back in the day I remember that being a very good resteraunt, what happened?

First off the wait for the food was very long...

First off the wait for the food was very long approx. 40mins. seemed like the waitress was invisible,saw her once in those 40 mins. When the food finaly did arrive the chicken quesidia was burned with no chicken. My wrap was well just that a basic looking and very bland tasting wrap and a greek with dried up brown lettuce. After the meal I let the waiters know how I felt and all she did was shrug her shoulders and say we are very busy. This was not the first time I have been disappointed at this place, the one on lasalle, I thought may the first time was just a chance and gave it one more try. Never again. Swiss Chalet NO WAY!
