“Dogs are like people,” says Bonnie Lamb, owner of Tails Up Dog Grooming. “If they don’t look good, it affects their moods. If they have matted fur and hair in their eyes, it affects how they feel about themselves.”
Bonnie has been transforming dogs at her grooming facility located in the same Leaside vet clinic since 1983. Changing a dog that ‘looks like a mess’ into one that looks great is what Bonnie enjoys about her work. “A lot of people never find what they love to do, but I have always loved this,” she says.
Well, Jimmy has been getting his lioncut for about 4 years and I know he was tough to handle the first time ( three staff had to hold him still ) but Jimmy got used to it. I mean, the look is fabulous and I just love the stocking seam down the back of his legs ! I would drive two hours to get Jimmy his lioncut !!!
Quick, good work for my cats nails very friendly and professional and free parking to boot. Also have a cockapoo they do a wonderful job and was very interactive before and after the cut and listened attentively.

We Took Walle somewhere else when we first rescued him and the cut was terrible. Somebody told us about Bonnie and Tails Up and we take him there regularly now. The cut has always been great and Walle actually enjoys getting his hair cut there.
When I took my Lhasa Apso, the woman was quick to take my dog back to where they groom dogs and did not even hear a word I told her. I specifically said DO NOT SHAVE my dog. When I picked him up he was shaved. It was so badly done, my dog has never looked so bad. Looks like they butchered him. I DO NOT recommend this place at all! I could of bought a clipper myself and shaved him for $62.00
