Shi Tang means “canteen”. You could walk by this place and be unimpressed – the decor is simple, but the menu is not. Lots of Concordia students and Chinese families congregate here to try a menu that is different from the usual Chinese offering (it’s also not translated, so unless you read Chinese, just point to what you want. Try the baozis (steamed buns) or shao bing (stuffed pancake) with a layer of braised pork.
