K Family Kitchen

I had an excellent food and waitress. However, the casher (the asian lady) was rude and racist. Because I had a separate takeout order that I was carrying (that was actually billed together with my dine-in), she suspected me of not paying in full. She called the waitress and asked if my payment of only one bill was authentic while I was hearing the conversation. She needs a diversity training or get fired!

I don't know why but the afternoon/evening waitress always gives me the most evil looks and then follows up with passive aggressive service. It looks like she could be the owners daughter or related so maybe she thinks it's acceptable to treat customers like this. Maybe she mistakes me for someone else but I really don't know what her problem is. I went there years ago to pick up a pizza and she gave me the evil eye then. That was enough to keep me away so I did not return for several years. I recently went there again and she still gave me the nastiest looks and then gave me a tea pot full of hot water that spilled more water on the table than the into the cup. Maybe it's just the way she looks at all tall dark men (my friend did not get the same stares but she did notice how the waitress sneered at me). I will not be returning as who knows what she may do with my order in the kitchen.

K Family is always friendly, the staff is very attentive and helpful. They serve the absolute best eggs Benedict in the known universe. Add a steak to it and you've got the Benny, my favourite K Family dish!
