Looking for a grungy type of nightclub where you can dance the night away? The Cobalt is the place to go. Wide plank flooring and dim lighting make this a fun hotspot to show off your wild dance moves. The main reason to come with the girls, however, is the extensive cocktail menu. Try one of their whipped cocktails before hitting the dance floor and enjoying live music from an energetic local band.
As the menu warns, most Keefer cocktails are doubles or even triples, so proceed with caution! The space is very dark, with only some string lights hanging from the ceiling and candles set around the bar. You can reserve the back room for your party or just have fun out in the main space. The bartenders are not only friendly, but they also really know their stuff – just try to stump them with a drink. There is more than booze here, though, and the food is just as delicious as the cocktails.
Nestled in the heart of Chinatown, this club is pretty easy to find. The drinks are reasonably priced, and the cover charge isn't too bad, considering how hot the club is. The sound system lives up to the club's name, and they bring in some pretty impressive DJs to spin, so you're bound to have a great time with your friends when you visit. Call ahead to enquire about the guest list and private table service options if you’re looking for VIP treatment.
If you just want to hang out and have a blast without worrying about getting hit on every few minutes, Club 23 is a laid-back, LGBT-friendly place to enjoy some dub step and a great DJ. The Gastown venue has three levels and is rarely too crowded, but the service is far better than most clubs. Head here later in the evening and you'll find it is really hopping, with dance cages, pool tables and a large dance floor and lounge area.
Sometimes the bachelorette party isn't about getting your dance on at the hottest clubs. For those nights when you want to enjoy some live shows, good food and great drinks, The Railway Club is a great place to visit. The bar is a bit small and can get crowded, but the service is amazing and the drinks are reasonably priced. Head upstairs to grab a spot for your group to take in musical performances and comedy shows
This club is an exciting place to stimulate the senses. The eerie blue and purple lighting will capture your eyes, but it's the top DJs who play each evening that make this one of the hottest clubs in Vancouver. You can expect all the latest Top 40 hits here, but keep in mind that the club is only open on weekends, so it can be hard to get into. Plan to arrive early.
While The Union might be your go-to place for a morning-after brunch, it's a great spot for a bachelorette party too. Stop in and try some of the sour pork crepes or a hot soup after a night of barhopping, or pop by early to start your evening in the happy atmosphere. The seating is family style, which means you may end up with a few extra people in your group, but that just adds to the fun. The staff is attentive and funny, always ready to help out.
