Being a Vegan for only 10 months I find it almost impossible to eat anywhere! We went to the Old Newcastle House and I was advised to try the veggie stir-fry. I have to admit I was hesitant, it was fabulous!!! I love to cook so therefore find it hard to find food I can say I love in most places!!! The company I was with also really enjoyed their food a lot! I have to say being OCD I always tend to look at the surroundings and this place is a little gem it is extremely clean ( which I love ) and beautifully decorated. I've been here 2x and loved the food! The service is good, staff is very friendly. If you're a man you want to be here during sport events- Multiple tvs on every wall as well as projector screens. I had the fried pickles, fiesta poppers (jalepenos stuffed with creamed cheese), chicken garlic flatbread, buffalo chicken ranch sandwich and chicken wings as well as the big jack daddy burger (pulled pork, onion rings, cheese all on a hamburger). Everything was so good. The only downside to our second visit was that it was on a busy night and I wasn't able to mix my sauces on my wings ( for every 5 wings you can choose a different sauce or rub). Staff are very knowledgable and will recommend all the good stuff. 5 stars in general but I didn't get to mix my sauces so 4 stars for that. Read more
