i need to have my jerk fix at least once a week and this is the best spot in Mississauga - trust me i've tried everything. don't expect the best service or atmosphere - that's not because they are rude or not nice, just seems like a lot of people are going in and out. Also, a few times they've mixed up my order, so make sure they get it exactly right.
I've also noticed a few times they over salted, but that's a few times in the many many times i've been there. Overall would highly recommend this spot.

Great food and service. We haven’t been to a store in over 2 weeks because of Covid-19 and decided to get takeout Fish & Chips tonite. I order over the phone and was told to arrive at 5:35. They only allowed one person in the Restaurant at a time. My food was hot, fresh and plentiful.

I met 02 regulars & they said the place is usually packed on Fridays--maybe the fog is keeping them away. Can you believe this guy has been here for over 30 years & I thought I had tried each and every fish and chip place in Mississauga. One previous review commented on the excellent batter and I thought, no way, batter always has an after taste....nope....no after taste. This is the best fish and chips that I've ever tried in Toronto. (I went there on the advice of a friend and would have never have gone here without that recommendation).
It's a very unassuming place, with fairly drab surroundings. But the fish is top notch, with large portions at a good price. I don't really know what else to say besides that. It's fish and chips and it's GOOD.
(If it weren't for the location, I'd come back more often.)

It's one of the best values in Chinatown, just take it home and make your own rice. fast, convenient and I've never had anything I didn't like. I enjoy many dishes from this place and I go all the time. I can't tell you how amazed at how delicious the food is here. Wow!!!
It's a take out restaurant but it's just the best. So, so, so filling. And the price, I can't believe the prices. Anyways if you just want to chill and you're in the neighborhood of Bay and King Street West hit up Famous Recipe. I generally get the chicken Roti and he makes it as mild or as spicy as I want depending on my mood.

There’s been time I went to KFC in Midland near closing time and picked up chicken and you can tell the chicken was fried a while ago, it was dry as ice ? .. Dixie Lee’s chicken is always fresh. Their fries and gravy are awesome, and the macaroni salad is amazing. Try it out, you won’t be disappointed. Plus the chicken pieces are a good size. It’s a 5/5 ⭐️ in my books.

Love this place! My husband and I were looking for good fish and chips and we were quite satisfied. I dont really care what the place looks like on the inside as long as it is clean. They have a sign saying the health department has been there and checked the place out and they passed so thats alright in my books. I think some people are a little dramatic on here. I thought the portion size was perfect, So did my husband who is a large eater. How much food does one person really need? it is a bit pricey but it's worth it for a treat once in a while!

My wife and I used to dine here more often in the past but I went back recently and was reminded me why we like it so much. The owners, John and Molly are very friendly and make some of the best doubles and vegetarian rotti's that we've ever had.
We mainly go there for the vegetarian cusine.
You won't be disappointed in your meal if you pick it up there. They can take awhile to make sometimes but you get what you wait for. Quality isn't fast.
