Food is really good. Staff are friendly and service is fantastic. I was greeted at the door immediately and had a cold beer within 2 minutes. I ordered hot wings on my first visit and suicide wings on my second visit. The hot wings are not very hot so if you like hot, order the suicide. Read more

st veronus still has wonderful tasty food. I especially love the stoemp. BUT they no longer have a lunch menu- which means having lunch here is now much more expensive than it used to be (ie. the stew used to be $11 for lunch, now its $18 off the generic menu). because of this- I likely will only come here for dinner now as Peterborough has lots of other reasonably priced lunch options. This pub is around the corner from our house and we just love it there. The ladies are all very friendly. the menu has variety so it doesnt matter what you feel like having they have something to satisfy you. Their sandwiches are AMAZING! They use meat from the butcher next door which adds that little extra for an awesome sandwich or burger. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun, we even take our baby there because anyone is welcome! Highly recommended! This past week, we ordered take-out for the Creamy Chicken Penne, the Club Sandwich and the french onion soup. The Creamy Chicken Penne is going to be ordered again tonight; it is really excellent! I am a long term customer of this establishment, and i am appalled at the last review. First of all i am routinely in there for the wings and the two girls that work on wing day-night are very friendly, quick and very good at their job which includes cooking the food. they work alone and it is typically very busy on a wing day-night. whomever wrote that review obviously did not read any of the other reviews posted about their " friday girls " as they are well known to repeated customers to be mean, slow and rude. its very surprising that anyone could have an issue with either of the "wings girls" in regards to their job performance and it sounds a little more like a personal issue. i have personally seen this very same person mentioned wash the tables, benches, walls and even the baseboards so i am more than happy to declare a good rating for both of the wing girls. If you are looking for a spot to hang with your friends and watch the game then you definitely need to hit up Whitby St.Louis. They pride themselves on their staff as well as ensuring that any major game that is playing is on every TV. This means hockey, baseball, football, UFC, golf- you name it they have it. Oh and the wings, fries and garlic dip is delicious. My personal favorite is the Hot n Honey wing sauce or the Suicide wing sauce. I would suggest going on Tuesday for wing night, or on Thurs or Fri which is their busiest nights. They have a huge regular following from 3pm to 5:30pm so if you are looking for some company at the bar, this is the time to go! Read more
