I absolutely love this place! Although the atmosphere of this restaurant is rather dark, gloomy, and sketchy, they have one of the best steaks and lobster in town. Usually we order bbq ribs and potato fries for appetizers. These appetizers are usually mediocre. As for the entree we always order the rib eye steak as well as 2lb-4lb lobster. The rib eye steak at House of chan is one of the best steaks I have ever had. The steak at House of Chan melts in your mouth as you eat it. This type of steak should only be eaten if you enjoy the natural taste of steak, and are expecting no additional added flavours. The lobster is usually just as good as the steak. They offer you a rich butter as a dip. I really enjoy this dish as well. Read more

My sister and I went for lunch while in the area and I am so glad I read the reviews here and decided on this place. There was an amazing aroma when we stepped in and all the patrons were asians ( always a good sign in an asian restaurant!). The menu had only a handful of choices which saved me dithering over what to get. I had the seafood option and my sister had the bbq, sorry I can't remember the exact names. They came with sides of kimchi, bean sprouts and soy beans. It was a wonderful meal and both of us enjoyed it. Read more

4 out of 5 stars. I was really pleased with all the food. The hunan beef and the general tao, could have tatsed more authentic , however both were really good despite not being what I have become acustomed to in other chinese restaurants. Everything else was super especially the Pad Thai (which we ordered with tofu an option not on the menu) and they were happy to do this for us. Not always an easy task (substitution) when it comes to chinese food. They were really generous with the portions everything was busting at the seams, and really friendly thats important too. Great value for amazing food. I'm surprised they don't change up their menu offerings a little more often. The restaurant is clean and pretty. The staff is attentive and informative. The only flaw is that you have to specifically ask for the bill, they do not ask you if you would like it. Some people might like that though. Read more
