Not only the best breakfast in the area, but the best value. (Especially if you are a senior.) 2 good sized eggs, 4 strips of bacon, texas toast and home-fires not frozen cubes. I get a side of hot peppers and coffee. For two of us .... just over $11.00 with tax!! (If you aren't a senior it would come to around $12.50) Never had a problem with any of the waitresses. Food is cooked properly. Atmosphere is the usual R&R diner that plays a good selection of 50's & '60's music. You can go a few blocks away and pay $16 for a lot less! The burgers at BBJ are delicious. Made with fresh, local ingredients, cooked to order. You can upgrade to premium toppings like goat cheese and portobello mushrooms, melts in your mouth. The portions are huge definitely a man sized burger. Fries and onion rings too. I have never seen such huge onion rings before. Beer battered and fantastic. Price, very reasonable for the sizes you get. I think it was $4.50 a burger to make it a combo it was $6.50.
