Always a good time but sometimes food can be a let down. Chicken, meh....but the chicken wings are great. Pizza is a toss, excuse the pun but I've great nights and sadly don't like it nights. It can get really loud so be prepared if you are bringing the grandparents (they may want to turn down their hearing aids). It's kid friendly on one side and has obviously long time locals and party people on the bar side as well. A nice mix all around. Read more

I think the stars aligned when I went to Swiss Chalet a while back (more than a year ago). As always, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is cozy without being stuffy or drab, and the service was quick (so quick I barely blinked and my food was there!). We had an AMAZING server who was around without hovering, and our food, as I said, was out within five minutes of ordering. This was, by far, the best service I have ever received in any restaurant. The server, in particular, was just absolutely incredible. She refiilled our water glasses when they were nearing empty, and it was like she was telepathic: she came with more napkins when things got a little bit messy! Overall, phenomenal. My recent visit to this Kelseys was one of the best I have ever had- despite the fact I did not enjoy my meal! I ordered the thai shrimp curry bowl and the sauce and noodles werent what I expected. After eating the shrimp & veg the manager noticed I wasnt satisfied & offered to replace the meal, when I told him I was no longer hungry he comped the entire thing! Great wings, good selection of food and drinks, and good price on pitchers and beer! Service is definitely better during the day if you like table service. At night, be prepared to go up to the bar to order drinks and sometimes food. My only complaint is that the shots are expensive and they seem a little on the small side. Compared to other bars, they offer a much wider selection of food and have better deals. Service is a bit lacking, however, this is a very busy place, especially past 7pm, so servers can't come by every two minutes to see you, so keep that in mind. If you're out for a night with friends, the beach is definitely a great place to start off! Read more

Every one of the staff members were very courteous and attentive. My daughter had her newborn son strapped to her chest in a wrap and many staff members stopped by to see our 6 week old grandson. The manager on duty even stopped to ask how everything was. The food and service was wonderful. The food never fails to please. We also ordered takeout recently with chicken parm meal for 4. We were able to feed 5 adults and still have some leftovers for lunch. Excellent value! Read more

I had a taxi on the way to come get me, and the employees here were able to take my order and make my subs in under 5 minutes. They were incredibly kind and more helpful than I deserved as a customer. I have a feeling they treat everyone with not just respect but they likely go above and beyond for all of their customers. I don’t personally believe service workers owe their customers reverence but their kindness touched my heart. Read more

Usually go here for a sit down meal in the dining room. Wings are pretty good, pepper poppers, onion rings, salads are nice. The nachos I had during my most recent visit wasn't the best, but nevertheless good. My last few visits I've sat at the bar at night, hoping to see a crowd watching the hockey or baseball games on the many TVs. I was disappointed to say the least. Only a couple of people.
