My son loves the selection of pastas, and my husband could have an affair with their ribs! Service is fast and efficient, I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes to receive each course. I stopped into Boston Pizza on a Thursday night drawn in by their board out front advertising $0.50 wings in the bar. Unlike most wing-deals these wings were very meaty and a good size. Everyone in my group was also very impressed with the service and couldn't help but notice how good looking, lively and knowledgable the staff was. Compared to the BP's that I'm used to going to in the city, this small town restaurant was VERY impressive. The staff does a good job promoting the different food/drink specials that are going on every day of the week (wings tuesday and thursday and cheap domestic beer monday night etc.). Read more

First and foremost we truly enjoyed our meal here. The complimentary bruschetta was a nice treat. Our server seemed a litte "put out" that we had one young child with us who was trying to figure out what she wanted as there is definitely no children's menu here, but once she decided on something we were AOK. I did call ahead to make sure they could accomodate children and they said no problem. The half portion of pasta she had was more than enough, and the chef was very accomodating. My 13 year old had the fettucini Alfredo which she orders all the time and she said it was exceptional. There was enought leftovers for her to 2 more servings at home! My husband and I had appetizers which were exceptional and we both enjoyed our meals. We also shared a half litre of wine. The chef brought some of our dishes and he was very friendly and attentive. My husband always enjoys this as he is a trained chef as well. What I noticed was that his chef whites were gleeming! This is a nice touch, as I have had chefs come to the table with dingy whites, or in one instance, looked like he had just butchered something! Overall, we will go back. AMAZING! Never been to this restaurant and had my first visit ever this past Saturday. Upon walking in, I first noticed the dim lighting which set a very memorable ambiance. Delicate and soothing music played over the room and we were seated quickly. Our waitress came over promptly and asked for our beverage order and did so in a bubbly and polite manner. Me and my partner both ordered Ceasar's and they were delivered very fast. Not only fast but quite possibly the best Ceasar I've had. Shortly after the drinks, she brought bread and sauce over to our table which was nothing short of a taste of heaven. It gives East Side Mario's starter bread a run for it's money. When we were ready to place our order, we both ordered the 10oz Rib Eye glazed with Cabarnet Sauvignon. At first, my partner couldn't decide between the Lasagna or the steak. Our waitress said that their pasta is memorable but their steak is of very high caliber. So he took her advice and ended up ordering the steak. I followed suit. As our sides, we decided to have penne pasta (the best of both worlds) and the steamed vegetables. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. Even at the Keg, I've never had steak so succulent and flavourful. This was incredible. Not only was the steak to die for, but they piled on - and I mean PILED on - a load of mushrooms on top and they are by far the best mushrooms I've ever eaten. The vegetables were delicious! Not too long into our meal, our waitress came over to ask how our meal was and I found it hard to tell her as I didn't want to take a breath to speak. Lol. It was then that we ordered a litre of Zinfandel to go with our meal and it, too, was impeccable. This is a beautiful little spot that is hands down the best place I've eaten in Brantford. Read more

This is one of my favourite restaurants. I first was taken here by my father after he had been so impressed eating here at a business lunch. We haven't had a bad meal here ever. My favourite meal is always the eggplant parmesan. It has to be prepared ahead of time, so make to to mention when you make your reservation, if you want it. Food quality is always amazing. The owner is attentive, enthusiastic, and passionate about the food and service. I visited Johnny's today because I know the owner and told him I would stop and try his pizza. I know he strives for excellent service and product (he has another business as well which is well looked after) and both of these today were outstanding. The pizza is hand made right before your eyes (he even wears the chefs hat!). It is cooked to perfection......the crust is ever so slightly crisp,light and airy..not heavy like a loaf of bread, the cheese melted just to a hint of brown in places. The store itself is small, and simple...one flat screen TV on the front wall, just loud enough to hear. He has about 6 square cafe tables some 4 seats some 2. A display case has a selection of huge slices for quick take out too. Prices are quite in line with the quality of the product, and his pies are bigger than others...his large is the other guys X-large!
