Yaletown Brewing Co.’s Fall Martini Madness

Head to Yaletown Brewing Co. for a night of friendly competition and amazing cocktails – all for a great cause! Watch a trio of guest bartenders make their best martinis and then vote for the winner – all proceeds are in support of Kids Help Phone.

  • When: Thursday November 2nd from 8 pm to 11 pm
  • Where: Yaletown Brewing Co.
  • Price: $10 cash at the door gets you three martinis (must register online in advance)

Vancouver Tea Festival

Calling all tea lovers! The Vancouver Tea Festival returns for its fourth year with tea tastings, presentations, a retail marketplace and more. Exhibitors come from all over Canada, the U.S., Japan and China to share their knowledge and brews.

  • When: Saturday November 4th (from 10 am to 6 pm) to Sunday November 5th (from 11 am to 5 pm)
  • Where: Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Vancouver and Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden
  • Price: $5.95-$31.95; free for children 5 and under

Fall High Tea at the Heritage Park

Enjoy high tea – and a blast from the past – with Fall High Tea at the West Coast Railway Heritage Park. Located north of Vancouver in Squamish, the park features a mid-20th century railway station and heritage displays, making for an idyllic setting to enjoy tea and goodies.

  • When: Saturday November 4th to Sunday November 5th at 12 pm, 2 pm and 4 pm
  • Where: West Coast Railway Heritage Park in Squamish
  • Price: $25 includes a selection of teas and a three-tier tray featuring sweets, sandwiches and tarts

EAT! Vancouver Food + Cooking Festival

One of the city’s most anticipated food festivals returns this November with the 15th annual EAT! Vancouver Food + Cooking Festival in support of Project CHEF. Spanning six days, this year’s festival features 15 culinary events focused on collaborations with all-star chefs. Choose from the EAT! Dinner Series, EAT! Pastry and EAT! Harvest events and EAT! Expert Classes.

  • When: Monday November 6th to Saturday November 11th
  • Where: Various locations
  • Price:  $65-$135

Cornucopia

Looking for a reason to head north of the city? Cornucopia – Whistler’s annual celebration of food and drink – gives you plenty. With a wide variety of events (think signature tastings, drink seminars, chef’s table luncheons, a culinary stage, a health and wellness series, restaurant and bar events, brunches and more), Cornucopia is the place to learn something new and enjoy epic flavours.

  • When: Thursday November 9th to Sunday November 19th
  • Where: Various locations in Whistler
  • Price: Varies by event; $89 general admission to the flagship grand tasting event

Hopscotch Festival

The 22nd annual Hopscotch Festival will be bringing the best scotch, whisky and beer to the PNE Forum between November 20-26. There are also a variety of special events and master classes on offer. All that's left to decide is whether you want that drink neat or on the rocks.
