Bodacious Baskets began as a way to bring in the best products to a small town in Saskatchewan and eventually became an international success based in Maple Ridge. When British Columbia native Willie Loren first opened the custom gift basket business in Saskatchewan, she was determined to fill the needs that she saw in her new small-town community. "There wasn’t anything like it in our community, so we decided to open a retail store," Willie explains. "We started off with gourmet foods, like chocolates and local gems such as Saskatoon berry products. In a small community that’s what you do: support each other. As we grew we began to introduce products from all over the world."
Today, Bodacious Baskets’ gourmet gift baskets are available internationally, but once upon a time, it was all about giving that rural community a taste of the world's finest foods.
