I was just there last weekend and had a very pleasing experience. I ordered some nigiri and a beef teriyaki. Not only did all the food taste awesome but having been busy, they told us ahead of time that the wait time might be long. The dishes came out within 20 minutes. We were very content by their service and left the restaurant satisfied.
I enjoy coming to Sakura Ichiban! They have a great customer service. It is probably my favourite neighbour joint for sushi. Their plates are on point. The ambience is not too bad but it definitely does not distract with the taste of delicious dishes they serve. They remember your names are so friendly.
I have been to this restaurant quite often since my close friend moved to that area. I have never been disappointed at the taste, service, and food portion at Sakura Ichiban. I have to admit, they are a bit on the pricey side but definitely worth every penny! I SWEAR. Try their caterpillar roll, the barbequed eel just melts in your mouth. If you prefer some privacy while eating, they also have private booths which will be great for business meetings and such. I highly recommend this place!
