Charged me $141 for less than 15 minutes of labour (no parts). Engine light had come on, car was idling rough. I phoned ahead and they were busy but they offered to do a quick scan. The mechanic tried swapping the ignition coils but it didn't help. They charged me $55 for the scan and $74 for the swap. I objected but they weren't willing to reduce the charge. Absurd-adds up to $564/hour! Provided no useful information. Told me to come back in 5 days to finish the job.
Rob's was recommended to me by WorldMark. I drove up and my car was making noises from the right front end like something got caught in the brakes. I called 3 different places Thursday and everyone was busy. Rob's told me to call back if I couldn't get in anywhere so I did. I made an appointment for Friday and took the car down at 7:30 when they opened. They parked it in a lot 1.5 blocks away and left a door unlocked and never looked at it. Find a different place to take your car.
Rob was beyond accommodating for me and my friends in a very tough situation. A friend of mine lost my car keys at Pemberton music festival. Rob not only provided the service we needed, but he did it after hours when he didn't have to, it was close to midnight when he had arrived back in town from Vancouver. He stayed with us the whole time, and was able to get us back on the road which helped us not have to worry about getting a hotel or miss a day of work the next day. I highly recommend Rob's
