I have been to Queenston Fish and Chips twice and overall the food has been pretty good. Certainly nothing to write home about, but more than satisfactory and reasonably priced. Would I go out of my way to get F+C here? No. But if I'm in the area and feel like fish, I'll give it another go.
Very good fish. There is not a lot of batter and they are full fillets, and very tasty. Coleslaw was tasty as well, and fries are fries : ) Enjoyed it for supper. This restaurant is really good. For a fish and chip night it was very delightful!
Excellent, friendly service. The owner takes time to answer questions regarding your preference for different tasting fishes.

Dont listen to the bad reviews about this place and the ladies there being rude as i have never had this problem and have beeing going there for quite some time. You arent going there to socialize. The fish and chips are excellent. if you want good fish and chips I would strongly recommend this place.
This fish and chips restaurant offers exceptional food for the price. Large servings of both fish and chips--as a family of 3, we order 3 fish but just 2 servings of fries--that covers the three of us. The food is *not* greasy (as others state). We usually order from here once a month.
There is an 'english as a second language' thing, but it's not a barrier for those that know that our society is multi-cultural. I've had no issues at all communicating with the staff. The service is quick. The actual restaurant is not updated, but, unlike what other people here stated, it's clean.
We have been going to this Queenston Fish and chip store for a long time the best fish and chip out there, the fridders are great as well.The people that work there are very nice .
We have ordered Halibut and chips many times from here and enjoy it alot. We always eat out on Fridays, and would highly recommend. We phone our order in for pick up at a certain time and they always have it ready for us.
The fish is good and you get plenty of chips.
This is a nice little restaurant which is excellent for take-out as well. I'm not sure what the rest of these people were ordering but they must have incredible appetites. 2 orders were more than sufficient for the 3 of us.
The Halibut was light and tasty and the chips good. The staff are not fluent in English but I disagree with the people who say they are not friendly. I guess you get back what you put in.

The 2 ladies were far from nice and I actually got the feeling that I was bothering them. Fish was very small, greasy and maybe 2 handfulls of chips. Don't waste your money.
Absolutely terrible! I felt like I was in a foreign country where no one seemed to understand or comprehend my order in the English Language! Absolutely the worst fish and chips I ever had since coming back to live in this city and visit my roots. I heard this was the best in town but when the original owner sold this establishment and the staff let go (so I am told by others), the best in town was gone as well. Food portions were small, greasy and not tasty whatsoever. I wish this was still kept by the original owner who knew what she and her staff were doing! I would not recommend this place to anyone. Since when do you serve BBQ pork at a fish and chip joint??

Absolutely greasy and the portions are half the size suited for a child not an adult! Not the same place that I visited almost 10 years ago when I came here to visit family. Place looked like it has changed ownership since the place looks very dirty and not a friendly staff to greet you. Where is the nice lady (owner, I believe) who worked there and greeted you with a smile? Would never come back! Seems there is a language barrier problem when ordering. Absolutley the worst fish and chips i have ever eaten!
Terrible!!! No the same owner who had the restaurant for over 35 years! Portions are small, and greasy!!! Service was terrible, could not understand English! Not a friendly staff at all!! Not recommended to anyone!!
