I thought the wait staff were great and they move...

I thought the wait staff were great and they move so fast. The food is homemade and once again, it is very fast delievery, thanks to the people in the kitchen. The price is like finding a good deal. The one thing that bothered me a little were the other custumers. Some are rude and make the staff run their feet off. There was a full house when I was there and I couldn't help but feel sorry for the 2 woman that were serving. I know I could never be a waitress, I would have lost my cool with some of the people there. It was a very good meal. It is a nice place to eat. I will go back.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. It is very cozy and all of the food is homemade. The soup is one of the best especially the sausage and saurkraut soup. The platter is huge we always take a piece home. The Staropramen beer is in a big can and is very reasonable at around $5. The service is great and all the waitress are happy to answer questions about the menu or about the restaurant. We were travelling to Prague over the Christmas break and had a nice conversation with one of the waitress about traveling to Europe. All in all this is a great little family restaurant!

i was told by a friend that me and my husband HAD to visit the metro -- a charming, intimate resto in downtown kitchener -- wow! having been through europe, it's been two years since i've had REAL schnitzel! we went for the platter for two, which our very funny and easygoing server told us was the 'popular pick' for parties of two. the selection was awesome and each schnitzel was absolutely delish! it's clear all their food is made from scratch, which is refreshing when compared to other restos! we also went with 'traditional' czech beer, staropramen (VERY well priced for tallboys) and managed to make room for strudel too, which was flaky and luscious tasting. we will definitely be coming back -- highly recommended!!!

Called ahead to order our meal. We called on...

Called ahead to order our meal. We called on Thursday Oct 8 to pre oredr our meal and when we were giving our order the person taking the order hung up the phone. we had to call back. The next day we called to see how much it was the girl said"I don't know, why you asking me?" I'm not going to continue but as you can see they have very poor service and they need to get there staff checked.

I think this is by far my favorite restaurant. It is very cozy and everything is homemade. The wait staff is very friendly and answers any questions that you have. The food is great and the soup is great everytime.
