Usually go to the Downtown Windsor location. Happened upon the LaSalle Front rd location. Just as good here - piping hot halibut in a lite crispy batter - fresh cut fries. Can't beat Tuesdays only $7.99.
My husband chose the healthier baked halibut with steamed veggies and a side of rice - a little pricier but he enjoyed too! We'll be back!
Soggy Fish and Chips! I can't beleive that this is their specialty! Never again! I don't know what kind of batter was on the fish, but it was mushy and very soggy and not crispy as it should be. It's not that difficult to make, but I think the oil is not changed very often. Chips were mushy as well!
I ordered the halibut special for January. The fish was dry and tasteless! It seemed as though it had been cooked in advance and perhaps dropped in oil to reheat as each order came in. I opted for the more expensive fish as a treat for my family--NEVER AGAIN!! I will tell everyone I can about this disastrous meal!

The food was excellent! The restaurant itself is rather "tight-fitting", not enough room between tables, washrooms were very small and non-handicap accessible. Overall cleanliness was less than expected, but still far beyond most restaurants of this type & size.

My family has been coming to this resturant for over 50 years. It is, by far, the best fish and chips dinner you can find in the Metro-Detroit/Windsor area. I recently moved to Florida and the only food I truly miss is their fish and chips.
