The lasagnas always a winner. The only reason I visit after having a few blah spaghetti meals.
The food is great, very large portions compared to the cost, always enough to take home, and the service was wonderful as always. We have been here several times and plan on coming back again in the future.
huge portion, quite good food, great service. this is nice little restaurant that is out of the way but definatly a good find. next time i go i am going to order the spagetti and meatballs it seems to be the specialty but other food is realy good to.
No, the food isn't gourmet, but if you are a student looking for a place where you definitely get your money's worth, this is an AWESOME place to go. Good for awkward first dates too, as you could probably just sit down and point out things that you see hanging from the ceiling if you are at a loss for words ;) On busier nights, you will have to wait for a table because the place is pretty small. However, once you are seated, the service is extremely prompt for only 1-2 waitresses and a bartender, all of whom are very friendly. The portions are HUGE, to say the least. Go very hungry. You probably won't need to order appetizers, although I enjoy their bruschetta. I REALLY like their nachos. Unlike other places, you actually get what you'd expect for $10 worth. They put meat, real cheese, veggies, and beans on top (I don't know anywhere else in London that includes beans). So, all in all I gave it an 8 because it's a decent meal at an excellent price.
Located off the main street, it's a small, cozy, (even rustic) restaurant with lots to look at. Even the lunch portions were very generous. I hear the dinner portions are HUGE. The soft drink glasses were huge as well. Pretty much just pasta. Very good value for your money.
