As a professional craftsman I have loved designing and building custom furniture and cabinets for over 40 years. Born and raised in Canada, I have traveled across the country and have watched the trends transform before my eyes. Having worked in construction since 1971 and starting my cabinet making career in 1980 - my experience in the industry is a testament to the attention to detail and high quality that is expected of an MBC cabinet. As the times change, so does our expression of home décor and efficiency. The Hogendoorns have seen two generations in Orillia, ON. Our family comes from Holland, where much of my inspiration in design comes from. I have passed my passion for wood working onto my family. 2 of my children currently work with us, Myja and Jonathon whose eagerness and high quality work standards have made them assests to the company.
