We went there twice on a recent trip to Ottawa, both times for breakfast. The service was good and the food was quite good. The flooring left a little to be desired, but otherwise it was good enough to have us return. The homefries are great!
For a restuarant less than 2 years old the floor in the front of the house is filthy. Around the base of the seats and under each table the dirt is so deep your could scrape it off the floor.
This leads me to ask "what else are the cleaners missing".
I went to the Bramasole on Merivale. Candy was the waitress and she was awesome, great service and great personality. The food was vey good and the coffee was non-stop until you wanted to leave. I went on a Wednesday morning and it was nice and quiet. I heard that on weekends it is quite busy. I can't wait to go back.
Bramasole embodies the classic ’50s diner. With its retro look and small town feel, Centretown’s favourite greasy spoon is a hot spot for locals. Bring your appetite and shine with the Sunrise on Bramsole’s all-day breakfast menu. It includes two eggs any style, ham, bacon or sausage, home fries, toast and coffee.
