Been going there for years!!

Father and Son's is not only a great place to eat, it is an icon in the Ottawa area. To the individual with the single bad review...... a place that's busy means that people love it!!! A negative experience does not mean that the restaurant was not adequate, perhaps your expectations were off on a tangent. You waited for half an hour and therefore, you're complaining... Every student at Ottawa U will attest to the great food, at low prices.

This place is horrible. I brought a party of 12 for one of my friend's birthday, and the service was horrible. We had to wait about half an hour to be served, at which point the food was horribly cooked, the fish I was served was to the point of being raw, and the staff and owner extremely unaccomodating. I would definitely not recommend dining here, noone has any idea how to run a business or what customer service consists of; will never return

Fabulous restaurant! they must custom order their bacon here, everyhting was so succulent and tender, great staff, beer was cold as ice, first time here in a long time and cant wait to go back!
